You know, I still had a blast during the times I got to host the RP sessions and hold out hope that something can be arranged in the long run. The holidays and travel have messed up the possibilities as well, but mainly it's more about finding the right combination of players and playable times within the framework of what I'd like to do with the world.
I still develop Vrathia on the side but how that meshes with the TCraig months continues to be a bit problematic.
For now, I am considering just hosting up some "for fun" nights/weekends so that people who just enjoy RPing and D&D (like myself) can still enjoy the atmosphere and social interaction of a good session with friends.
I'd love to see VoS go forward, but I'd love more to just be able to play. At this point, I've got a fair idea who 'Thorgrim' (my 'for fun' character) *is*, and wouldn't mind seeing him develop and move past level 2. I've got virtually no attachment to my no-name fighter that I rolled for VoS, but would still love to kick around Vrathia and maybe figure it out. So whichever way we manage to move, as long as it's some forward progress, I'm good.
I still believe we should set some time to play over the holidays. Maybe the morning (Pacific) of December 26, 27, 28. Really depends upon peoples availability during the holidays.
